Eight stand speakers were arranged around the space at the Scottish Book Trust in Edinburgh, playing a constant soundscape. A piece of wirelessly networked jewellery was placed upon each for visitors to try on and play with, and these interactions changed channels in the sounds associated with each piece. When two people interacted together, the spoken narrative of ownership could be heard through the associated speaker. This could be ‘stolen’ by other visitors, to be heard through different speakers.
